Scott Evans, VP Marketing, the Henry Wine Group

Scott Evans is the VP of Marketing for The Henry Wine Group, a company that has a network of family owned suppliers from all over the globe. In his current role, Scott runs the Portfolio Management team, overseeing supplier relations, pricing and purchasing. He has been in the wine industry for 23 years on the west coast, having served as the Hawaii State Manager for Trinchero Family estates. He has also worked for Schieffelin & Somerset, Fredrick Wildman and WJ Deutsch, and has a proven track record of successfully building brands in the marketplace with suppliers and at the wholesale level.

 

Scott has a BS from Long Beach State; he was on the rowing team.  WSET II certified, constantly remaining active in his education of food and wine. He lives in Marin County, CA with his wife, also in the wine industry, and their 5 year-old daughter.
