Aaron Strout has more than 17 years of digital and social media marketing experience
with the last five years spent focused on social media, mobile and location-based marketing.

While working for and with marketing teams within the financial services industry, Aaron has helped build multi-million dollar websites, create e-mail, search and online advertising campaigns, create social media strategies, build Facebook pages, branded online communities (private and public), blogs and Twitter presences. Aaron has experience across a variety of clients including Intel, Fidelity Investments, Citibank, Michaels Stores, SAP, Hersheys and Hewlett-Packard.

Aaron is also the co-author of Location-based Marketing for Dummies (Wiley imprint). He also blogs, tweets and podcasts about the location-based marketing space.

Aaron has previously held positions as director of online marketing at Fidelity Investments, VP of social media at Mzinga and CMO at social media agency, Powered (now part of Dachis Group).
