Susan DeMatei has worked for over 25 years marketing luxury goods. After graduating cum laude with a Bachelors degree from Boston University, she enjoyed a successful career as a leading national Advertising Agency Account Director working on Direct Marketing (websites, email, direct mail and analytics) for technology brands such as Sprint, Dell, Apple and Motorola. Blending her passion for wine with her expertise in technology, she then moved to Napa and devoted her efforts to developing databases and direct sales for wineries such as Beringer, Chateau Souverain, Penfolds, Meridian, Opus One, Goosecross and Stags' Leap before she started her own company over two years ago. Susan is a Certified Sommelier, a Certified Specialist in Wine and has a second degree from the Viticulture School at Napa Valley College. She currently lives in Napa with her husband and bulldogs and owns her own consulting agency, WineGlass Marketing, specializing in consumer database development and analysis for wineries.
