Sean founded Groove 11 in 2001 and grew it to become the second largest agency in Marin County, serving Fortune 500 clients in technology, finance, health care and alcohol beverage. In 2012, Sean became the owner and managing partner at Groove (no 11) and narrowed its focus to lifestyle brands within a three-tier business model. Sean helps brands develop their stories in the digital economy. He generates strategies that engage a brand’s target market at the distributor, retailer and consumer tiers in ways that add value to the company. His talent for storytelling comes from his film background and fifteen plus years in digital marketing.
Sean has worked with some of the nation’s most recognizable names including Diageo, Constellations, Treasury Wine Estates, Clinique, Sun Microsystems, Kettle Chips, ZAGAT and Hyatt. His breakthrough work in digital learning and sales activation led to a vision for Wingman, a proprietary commercial platform for wine and spirits producers that brings the full value of each brand into every sales call. When he’s not in the office, Sean is training for the Aids Ride or Tough Mudder. Because life is the greatest narrative that we can actually own, Sean strives to make his story a passionate one.
