Sarah Lockyer is Editor-in-Chief of Nation’s Restaurant News, the foodservice industry’s most influential media brand. Ms. Lockyer leads the editorial team and content development for NRN’s bi-weekly magazine and portfolio of digital products, including the most-trafficked website in B2B foodservice, NRN.com, and a portfolio of e-newsletters, led by flagship NRN a.m.

NRN.com was named Best Website at the 2013 Jesse H. Neal Awards from American Business Media, which honors excellence in journalism. Ms. Lockyer also serves as Director of Digital Content for the Penton Restaurant Group, which includes NRN sister publications Restaurant Hospitality and Food Management.

Ms. Lockyer joined NRN in January 2004 as Financial Editor, covering the restaurant industry’s financial news, mergers and acquisitions, economic trends and financing. In 2009, she was named Executive Online Editor. Previously, Ms. Lockyer was a business reporter at American Banker in Washington, D.C. and New York.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Ms. Lockyer also earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She lives in New York City with her husband and adorable pit bull, Marley.
