Jeff Stai / El Jefe, Twisted Oak Winery

Jeff “El Jefe” was born a poor geek child many (many) years ago. He was raised on classic science fiction, excelled at math and science, and built a successful engineering career. This naturally prepared him for a career in the wine business. Well, not really, a love of wine started the chain of events that led to starting Twisted Oak Winery in 2001. And the geek background has definitely helped with leveraging new technologies to grow the winery business. (However, none of this explains the rubber chickens…)
