Mexican born has worked in the restaurant business since the age of 14, in Napa Valley Bistro Don Giovanni, Tra Vigne, and Belle Arti. This are some of the restaurants that nourished his love for the business and more specifically wine after moving to Napa, California.

In July 2010 alongside Michael Galyen, whom he had previously worked at two other restaurants, he took the Beverage Director title at Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto's Napa restaurant.

Since then he has been involved in the opening of Morimoto Mexico City, Morimoto Maui, Japonais by Morimoto in Chicago and is currently working on new restaurant projects with Chef developing and maintaining multiple beverage programs as the Morimoto Restaurants Beverage Director.
